| Karissa and Kristina Shannon Leaves Playboy Posted: 14 Jan 2010 07:31 AM PST Kristina and Karissa Shannon (born October 2, 1989; Ann Arbor, Michigan) are American models and twin sisters. Hugh Hefner of Playboy chose them as his next set of girlfriends, replacing Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson. Crystal Harris has replaced Holly Madison as his number one girlfriend with whom he shares a bed. They have also appeared on The Girls Next Door. On January 14 2010 Hugh Hefner revealed that the twins were moving out of the mansion to the local Playmate house with his blessing. It is unclear whether they will remain in The Girls Next Door The girls appeared as Misses July and August in the double "Summer Issue" of Playboy that incorporated July and August in a single edition. They are the sixth identical twins to pose as Playmates, but are the only twins to each have their own month.
