There has been no dearth of controversies in Veena Malik’s life. In 2001 stills from a purported nude photoshoot surfaced on the Internet. Veena denied she had ever posed for the pictures and dismissed them as fake. “Those are fake pictures. I am not bothered about them since those are not my photographs. I know there is a striking identical resemblance between the girl in those snaps and me but just resemblance takes us nowhere,” she was quoted as saying.

Also she was accused in 2004 of being involved in indecent acts by one of her co-stars. After filming a cross-border venture with Bollywood named Pind Di Kuri, actress Sheeba Butt added, "That is what her real character is like. It is a matter of disrespect for us." This came after Veena’s comments that Sheeba’s acting etiquette 'had tarnished the image of Pakistan by causing a loss' of Rs 70,000 to the Indian Punjabi producer Iqbal Singh Dhillon for which Veena claims she had to compensate for from her own pocket.

In 2007 Veena and fellow actress Meera made a lot of harsh comments about each other in interviews. Veena even stated that Meera threatened to throw acid on her face, but this could not be verified. Meera’s personal assistant Mukhtar left her and started working with Veena, which caused Meera a lot of anger, and she even accused Veena of having an affair with Mukhtar. A mom of an 8-year-old boy was awaiting her son's arrival from school. As he ran in, he said he needed to talk to her about making babies. He claimed he knew about the development of a fetus but didn't understand the answer to that "million dollar question." Namely, how did the sperm get into the woman? The mom asked the boy what he thought the answer was. The boy said that the sperm is manufactured in the man's stomach, it rises up to his chest, then throat, and into his mouth whereupon he kisses the woman and deposits the sperm into her mouth. The mom told her boy that was a good guess, but wrong. She said that she would give him a hint... that the sperm came out of the man's pen*is. A new pub landlady got a shock when she discovered one of her regulars is a horse. Jackie Gray recently became landlady at the Alexandra Hotel in Jarrow, Tyneside. She says she got a pleasant surprise when carthorse Peggy joined owner Peter Dolan for a pint. The 12-year-old's tipple is a pint of John Smiths and pickled onion crisps.

Mrs Gray said, 'When I bought the pub a few weeks ago I heard rumours that one of the regulars was a horse but I didn't quite believe them. It was a hot day when the horse came in and I was shocked at first because I have never run a pub before.'

Mr Dolan, 61, from Jarrow, bought Peggy six years ago and discovered her fondness for the pub when she followed him inside. According to the BBC he said, 'Peggy's no bother at all. Most of the regulars know her as she's been coming in here for years and for them Peggy's a bit of a novelty. She's a proper lady.'

This reminded Will of a horse which drank occasionally in the Clacton Arms, Paulsgrove [demolished for housing] in the late 1960's when John Palmer was landlord.
