Burj Dubai, Tallest Skyscraper First Look Inside

Towering high above the Dubai skyline, Burj Dubai, the world's tallest man-made construction, edges closer to completion (2010). These stunning aerial and exclusive interior images provide a glimpse into the lavish creation which has cost an estimated UD$1 billion to build, with a further three billion budgeted for the entire complex.

Reports have suggested that Giorgio Armani himself will oversee all aspects of content, design and style, including interiors and amenities. And the fashion guru will be incorporating the his exclusive label's designs into the furnishings. The water system will supply 250,000 gallons each day and the tower's external surface is the size of 17 football fields. The building will have the worlds fastest elevators at speeds of 64 km/h (40 mph) or 18 m/s (59 ft/s).

The Burj Dubai has been designed to be the centre of a large-scale, mixed-use development that will include 30,000 homes, 9 hotels, 6 acres of parkland, 19 residential towers, and the 12 hectare Burj Dubai Lake. Check out the exclusive images from Burj Dubai.

CAT 2009 scheduled for today had to be cancelled, courtesy a technical snag due to the exam server crashing. All the candidates had to be sent back home.
CAT scores determine entry to the IIMs in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Indore, Lucknow, Kozhikode and Shillong and host of other institutes which accept CAT score for admission to their Management Programmes,

never expected this from the Best B Schools of India. People managing should have understood prior to the exam that there will be large number of students attempting and there could be a problem of overloading.

We the student are facing the online CAT for the first time and this kind of news adds to our tension.

All over Kerala, the Muslim community celebrates Bakrid, the great celebration. It usually falls on the tenth day of Lunar year.

The celebration is conducted in remembrance of Prophet Ibrahim who was willing to kill his only son Ismail by the command of God. When he was about to kill his son, God send a goat inside of killing him. As a remembrance of this act Muslims sacrifices a goat or Bakr (Urdu).
All over Kerala on this day, is echoed with the declaration of Muslims- Allahu Akbar that means God is Great. All Muslims rise up in the morning with a great festive mood and reciting the same. They celebrate their day in the morning by gathering in the mosques where the Imam recites prayers and gives talks on how to go on with the commandments of God and lead a holy life like Ibrahim.
