Patrick Swayze Died (Pancreatic Cancer)

Posted: 14 Sep 2009 07:42 PM PDT

Patrick Swayze, the hunky actor who danced his way into moviegoers' hearts with "Dirty Dancing" and then broke them with "Ghost," died Monday after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57.

He was best-known for his roles as romantic leading men in the films Dirty Dancing and Ghost and as Orry Main in the North and South television miniseries. He was listed by People magazine as its "Sexiest Man Alive" in 1991.

"Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months," said a statement released Monday evening by his publicist, Annett Wolf. Swayze died in Los Angeles, Wolf said, but declined to give further details. Fans of the actor were saddened to learn in March 2008 that Swayze was suffering from a particularly deadly form of cancer. He kept working despite the diagnosis, putting together a memoir with his wife and shooting "The Beast," an A&E drama series for which he had already made the pilot.

Swayze said he opted not to use painkilling drugs while making "The Beast" because they would have taken the edge off his performance. The show drew a respectable 1.3 million viewers when the 13 episodes ran in 2009, but A&E said it had reluctantly decided not to renew it for a second season.
When he first went public with the illness, some reports gave him only weeks to live, but his doctor said his situation was "considerably more optimistic" than that. Swayze acknowledged that time might be running out given the grim nature of the disease.

"I'd say five years is pretty wishful thinking," Swayze told ABC's Barbara Walters in early 2009. "Two years seems likely if you're going to believe statistics. I want to last until they find a cure, which means I'd better get a fire under it."

A Peek Into Indian Rave Parties

Posted: 14 Sep 2009 08:07 AM PDT

Generally speaking, rave parties have enormous means of lights of all colors, fast beat techno music that will keep you going and lots of light shows which people use glowsticks and make sort of designs by which moving them around; these rave parties are for people who usually use Extascy, and when on Extascy these lights will make you trip and have a good time.

Quite sometime ago, TOI organized a survey and was shocked to found that a average south delhi kid spents atleast Rs10,000 per night on late night parties. Where do the money they spend, they get it from? Now the most shocking part, their parent give it to them. According to TOI, one of the parents said "We dont want our son to realise that they are deprived of anything in this world, just because of money. "!! Well well, in india, where around 40% people live under proverty, i.e, their monthly income being less than Rs 550, kids in urban areas really need parents like this to make them a worthy citizen. Wow new generation, we have nothing to say.

Check out some pics from some high profile parties where the kids today enjoy spending money. Is it really worth it?

Web Promotion 2009 Trends (MySpace Tricks)

Posted: 14 Sep 2009 02:38 AM PDT

Since the advent of social community sites & Web 2.0 concept, the real growth & the success of a website now lies on users of that site. Among all the social community sites Myspace has really encashed on the user sentiments & has been the most popular one, attracting millions of traffic on Myspace.

The site's growth, which leveled off during the summer, has picked up again. In October, the site logged 24.2 million unique users, up 12% from 21.6 million in September, according to a new report from researcher. The number of unique visitors was roughly flat at 21 million in July, August and September.

Traffic has picked up again, too. MySpace had 11.6 billion page views in October. The number of page views was roughly flat in the 9 billion range from July through September. It has nearly twice the number of page views as Google, which logged 6.6 billion in October. So, as it becomes a popular hub of online social mixing, more & more people & websites are trying to be more visible in the Myspace circle.

With the rising popularity of MySpace, imagine being on the top list, where Record Labels go on searching for new Talents round the Globe. Imagine also you popularity before your official release, when millions of visitors check your MySpace Music Profile and be your fan, once they see you on the Featured Artists Page.

Yet, popularity in Myspace is not been so easy these days.. Biggest online platform means greater chances of competition. Some basic points that all the people always follow is :

1. Have a cool layout. No babyish things, or glittery posters. Keep it clean, and choose a layout that looks good. Or just use the built in profile edit that MySpace provides you; that's your best bet.

2. Although it may look cool to have a lot of friends, it could just make you look desperate if you add tons of people you don't know.

3. Join vanity groups, especially VIP.

4. Have an original display name and URL. Make a simple and classy name.

5. Have a good about me. Talk about yourself, and what kinds of things you like to do. eg: Hi. I'm ____ and I'm in the ninth grade. Being Vegan.
Keep it simple. And be confident.

6. Try having a mix of obscure bands and popular bands on your list, so people can relate.
Have a song you like, and make sure you put of things that show your personality!

7. Ask people to support you.

These are the points that most of the user apply to their profile, but still this is not enough to be popular in between millions of competitors and come up in Featured Artist Page... you need to do some unique that can bring you out selectively from this huge Myspace traffic...

Although, the simple way of success is the maximum number of hits your profile and player gets. Therefore, it's not been so easy to get huge number of hits... Surely there is some trick to do such and that's no other than by Myspace Plays Increaser s/w .... Hopefully there are number of software companies creating such type of s/w but unfortunately some of them are failed to give UNLIMITED number of hits and most of them are not working due to the launch of new Myspace Player.

In this situation there is only one s/w that is still creating a huge appeal in internet marketing World and in user sentiments.. The software is know as Hellofriendz, and good to see that it works in new Myspace player as well as it can provide UNLIMITED number of hits for life time...

It's like a rising star and the Musicians all over the world mostly like it due to some special features as follows :

1. Hellofriendz Demo gives 1500 hits FREE
2. HelloFriendz appeared to be the fastest hits producing s/w
3. It gives around 10,000 Hits in just 5min and that too Unlimited.
3. It works in New Myspace Player.
4. Full version ( One-time Payment ) with affordable price gives you UNLIMITED hits to your profile and songs for your life time

Hence using this software musicians & bands as it gives them lot of visibility in Myspace & makes their profile the most visited ones, which in turn attracts more people to their profiles in a viral sense & makes then popular . As because maximum number of hits using this s/w will increase your chance to come up in Featured Artist Page.

Promoting in 2009
The 2009 musician must have the ability and capability to be both artist and entrepreneur, and to deliver results. Today's artist is web savvy. He/she must move around different blogs, social networks, ezines, internet radio, establish global distribution, online promos, not only know what a bot is or how a proxy works, but know how and when to use it. So obv, MySpace has now become the all on one source to obtain traffic, revenue and bookings for shows. So the next time some industry rep shoots the biz with you after a show, you won't be hard pressed to answer 'what's your myspace play count and profile views', because he'll probably already know them. This type of program like Hellofriendz, outfits today's artist with the tools to establish real fans, revenue and most importantly, a name.

So, to all artists, the last thing to say, again content is the king. We all wait for new good songs to hit the MySpace charts every day. See you all there. Good Bye.
