Mukesh Ambani (Gujarati: – born on April 19, 1957 in Aden, Yemen) is an Indian business magnate, philanthropist and the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, the largest private sector enterprise in India and a Fortune 500 company. His personal stake in Reliance Industries is 48%. His personal wealth is valued at US$29.0 Billion by Forbes Magazine, making him the world’s fourth richest person and Asia’s wealthiest person. Mukesh Ambani and his younger brother Anil are sons of the late founder of Reliance Industries, Dhirubhai Ambani. Mukesh Ambani directed and led the creation of the world's largest grassroots petroleum refinery at Jamnagar, India, with a current capacity of 660,000 barrels per day (33 million tonnes per year) integrated with petrochemicals, power generation, port and related infrastructure. Today, he leads the largest private sector conglomerate in India.
