| Posted: 14 Jun 2011 08:00 AM PDT Sofia Hayat’ is a British Asian actress, singer and model. Hayat hails from the UK and is of Indian heritage. She has worked on both British and Indian projects.(date of birth 1984). Hayat first came to public attention on Satellite Channel, Zee TV, where she hosted her own TV show for 3 years starting in 2000. The show became a cult favourite amongst young British Asians. Later, Hayat was in the UK TV talent show Bollywood Star, in which she lost out on the first prize by about 3 places. Sofia has a BA (hons) in performing arts, as well as studying 2 years in Theatre Studies and a year at The Actors Centre in London, where classes are taught by Hollywood film directors. She has been instructed under David Schwimmer, famously from the American TV show “Friends”. More >
