Model Natasha Sikka Defamed by Fake Emails Posted: 27 Apr 2010 03:32 AM PDT Mumbai-based model and actress Natasha Sikka (Click Here to Know More about Natasha Sikka) has filed a complaint with the Mumbai cyber crime cell against a former friend who has allegedly been sending out false and defamatory emails to various professional acquaintances of the model. According to Flynn Remedios, publicist and spokesperson for Natasha Sikka, "the model was briefly engaged about two years ago to a Delhite. When she called off the engagement on grounds of cruelty and harassment, her incensed former boyfriend started sending out false and defamatory emails to her professional contacts like photographers and web portals. The accused person also put up a vulgar and indecent blog about the model claiming falsely that she is being investigated for fraud. His emails threaten legal action for copy right infringement claiming to be sent from a law firm head quartered in England, under the false email identity of Yogendra Pratap Singh." The police are trying to track down the IP address and location of the sender who has been going about this scandalous deed with great impunity. Now the Fake Email: From :YP GroupReply Subject :Nitin Bedi Photoshot Shoot with Natasha Sikka Message :It has come to our knowledge that your group is promoting Miss Natasha Sikka on hotklix, emailbookmarking.blogspotcom, mybloglog.com... Kindly remove all the pictures/articles/blogs related to Miss Natasha Sikka as she is undergoing criminal investigation. We have also spoken to Mr Nitin Bedi (the photographer) who stated he had not authorized any company to publish her images/articles/blogs. He has subsequently removed all her images from his site. So, we may even have a copyright issue with your firm. As the charges against Miss Natasha Sikka are serious, we would advise you to take this action promptly failure of which will make you liable for investigation of acting as her promoters. All the other companies are already obliging/obliged. We have recently had confirmation of deletions from the likes of zimbio, exbii, santabanta.com, hotbollywoodactreess.net and many more and would expect the same co-operation from yourselves Confirm deletion by emailing us on ypgroupindia@yahoo.in. However, thanks to Natasha for the prompt action. After all we bloggers can obviously make the market for a good model like her, and one of the best photographers like Nitin Bedi, and I believe that we bloggers shouldn't be taking down or be forced to take down any of our posts, until and unless there's actually a genuine problem, that's being created by a poison-pen driven blog post, and hampers the image of any person, property, product or place.
